Happenings

This post is going to combine a few different events we've done over the past couple of weeks.

First, we had Western night for LOGOS. I loved getting dressed up for that one. Sam was in the middle of playing Play Doh but had to join in the picture taking.

On the Thursday I was off of school for conferences, Mom and I went to Milwaukee to see Aunt Amanda and baby Maebel. They had a deal at Build A Bear, and Mom had told me I could get one so we did that! I picked a Kylo Ren Star Wars bear and named him Starry. We also visited the Lego Store which was pretty cool!

Mom, Sam and I made a trip to the zoo since we hadn't been there in awhile. It was a pretty chilly morning so we got some hot chocolate and watched the polar bears from the Glacier Grille.

The carousel was running, which we were surprised about. Aunt Amanda would have been very proud as Sam chose the otter on his own :)   I was on the lion farther back.

Just hanging out as turtles...

Great Grandma passed away on November 20th. We will all really miss her.

We got to see all our cousins and the great grandchildren were all together for the first time.

I had a great time with Zoe coloring and talking.

Mason and Maebel met each other for the first time.

A picture of all the Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. The first time we had been together in over 10 years.

Mommy was bad about taking pictures on Thanksgiving...she didn't take any! We went to G&G Hyland's on Thanksgiving Day and then G&G Rikli's the day after Thanksgiving.

The day after Thanksgiving, we went to the fire truck parade at night in Sun Prairie (along with everyone else in Sun Prairie)! It was a cold night, and there were TONS of people. Next year it might just be me and Mom. Sam was interested to begin with, but then got cold and lost interest.

I got pretty close to a front row seat with Daddy.

Sam got to sit on Grandpa's shoulders and see everything coming.

Mom and I stayed till the end to see Santa light the Christmas tree. Dad and Sam went to the car to warm up. I really liked him lighting the Christmas tree. He put magic dust on it and lit it from the ladder of a fire truck. Mom didn't get any pictures because she had to hold me so I could see.

Happy Thanksgiving! We have a lot to be thankful for!
