May!

Here is our update for May so far.

Sam got ahold of the camera and took some selfies. This was one of many!

We tried out a new place called Madtown Twisters. The boys enjoyed it, but not as much as Pump It Up. We might go back, but it wasn't the #1 choice.

Sam had his Spring program at school. Here he is before the show.

Before they started, he was very happy. Then they started the songs, and it ended up a lot like last time. He was rubbing his eyes and not participating very well. As his teacher said, I don't think he is going to end up doing performing arts.

We went to Kids Building Wisconsin for the first time this year. It was a great event, with a lot of different booths to visit to do things related to the construction industry.

We thought Sam would enjoy it more than Joey, but Joey seemed to actually enjoy it more.

Writing their names on a window...

Joey was excited to see this guy. We thought it was The Home Depot guy at first, but after looking at these pictures realized it was more Bob the Builder.

Sam and Joey got to help fix some plumbing and then got to pick a Tootsie Roll out of the toilet. That was a very big thrill!

Sam knew all about how to operate this.

The boys both got their faces painted. Sam chose a rainbow, and Joey chose a shark.

For Mother's Day, we went to brunch with G&G Hyland, Jay, Amanda and Maebel, and Great Uncle Pete, Great Aunt Arlene, and Tim.

Joey made me some presents for Mother's Day. He did a silhouette, a flower and a coaster.

Me and my boys...

Picture outside after brunch...

Joey being silly sitting in the high chair at G&G Hyland's.

Maebel trying out the rocking horse.

The boys had to get in their wrestle time with Uncle Jay...poor Uncle Jay!

I got to be snack helper at Sam's school. He found this little dolphin and carried it around with him all during playtime.

Jay and Maebel came over so that Jay could go see Captain America Civil War with John and Joey. Sam, G&G Hyland and I got to babysit Maebel. She was crawling all over and pulling herself up to stand. She was good, as usual!

Grandma, Sam, Maebel and I walked to the park. Maebel fell asleep within the first block so she didn't get to play at the park.

Sam got to drive Daddy's truck. He was VERY happy about that.

Grandpa, Maebel and Sam were the cheering section while Grandma, Jay, Joey and I played basketball. Grandpa and Sam were cheering for the boy's team and Maebel was cheering for the girl's team.

Fun, fun, fun!

This is a post full of pictures because I had a lot of trouble narrowing them down.

It is park season! We have been trying out a bunch of parks (some old and some new).

Here are the boys at Joey's school. They packed backpacks and set up camp, as we had the whole playground to ourselves.

Joey even brought his pillow, and yes he is sitting on his pillow swinging. He takes after his Mom just a little bit :)

Sam got to go to Kenzie's birthday party at Prairie Kids Club. They had a pinata. Here he is giving it a whack!

Sam pretending to be a robot...love the eyes!

We went to the zoo for the first time this season (along with half of Madison), and Daddy came with us!

Here are the boys at a new park we found. We will be going back to this one!

We had to hit up Fireman's Park again too for the first time this season.

We went to see Maebel and got some cousin pictures.

Sam played with Maebel much more this time than any other time. I think because she is getting older and doing more, Sam is more impressed. It takes quite a bit to impress Sam! He would build the tower and she would knock it down.

He also got to try feeding her. She wasn't too sure about that!

We went to a park that night, and I forgot to pack Joey a coat. That was ok though because Joey wore Grandma's and Grandma wore Grandpa's!

Maebel went in the swing for the first time!

Love this picture of the boys with their Aunt, Uncle and Cousin.

The next day we got to see them again because we went to Red Robin and Eugster's. Maebel is seriously the happiest baby ever!

Sam had to milk Daisy.

This year the boys got to hold the goats (last year only the adults could). Sam was very proud and really liked holding them!

Maebel got super excited with the goats too.

Joey got to hold this goat named Joey :)

John held Maebel for the first time. Love the look she is giving him!

We went to the last Kids in the Rotunda. I took a couple of goofballs!
