May!

Here is our update for May so far.

Sam got ahold of the camera and took some selfies. This was one of many!

We tried out a new place called Madtown Twisters. The boys enjoyed it, but not as much as Pump It Up. We might go back, but it wasn't the #1 choice.

Sam had his Spring program at school. Here he is before the show.

Before they started, he was very happy. Then they started the songs, and it ended up a lot like last time. He was rubbing his eyes and not participating very well. As his teacher said, I don't think he is going to end up doing performing arts.

We went to Kids Building Wisconsin for the first time this year. It was a great event, with a lot of different booths to visit to do things related to the construction industry.

We thought Sam would enjoy it more than Joey, but Joey seemed to actually enjoy it more.

Writing their names on a window...

Joey was excited to see this guy. We thought it was The Home Depot guy at first, but after looking at these pictures realized it was more Bob the Builder.

Sam and Joey got to help fix some plumbing and then got to pick a Tootsie Roll out of the toilet. That was a very big thrill!

Sam knew all about how to operate this.

The boys both got their faces painted. Sam chose a rainbow, and Joey chose a shark.

For Mother's Day, we went to brunch with G&G Hyland, Jay, Amanda and Maebel, and Great Uncle Pete, Great Aunt Arlene, and Tim.

Joey made me some presents for Mother's Day. He did a silhouette, a flower and a coaster.

Me and my boys...

Picture outside after brunch...

Joey being silly sitting in the high chair at G&G Hyland's.

Maebel trying out the rocking horse.

The boys had to get in their wrestle time with Uncle Jay...poor Uncle Jay!

I got to be snack helper at Sam's school. He found this little dolphin and carried it around with him all during playtime.

Jay and Maebel came over so that Jay could go see Captain America Civil War with John and Joey. Sam, G&G Hyland and I got to babysit Maebel. She was crawling all over and pulling herself up to stand. She was good, as usual!

Grandma, Sam, Maebel and I walked to the park. Maebel fell asleep within the first block so she didn't get to play at the park.

Sam got to drive Daddy's truck. He was VERY happy about that.

Grandpa, Maebel and Sam were the cheering section while Grandma, Jay, Joey and I played basketball. Grandpa and Sam were cheering for the boy's team and Maebel was cheering for the girl's team.
