Wisconsin Dells 2013!

We had a great trip to the Dells this year! This was Sam's first "official" year since last year we didn't stay overnight.

He had to go by the phone and ended up calling security so the trip didn't start out wonderfully! We were both VERY excited.

Stopping to look at some taxidermy on the way to the waterpark!

I ran right in. No time to take off my shirt, nothing!

Sam was a little more cautious, but the water in this pool was pretty warm so he was happy!

Hmmm, what should I do next?

I loved going on the lazy river. I went with Daddy, then with Mommy and Sam and then with Daddy again. The last time we played bumper boats with Uncle Jay and Aunt Amanda...that was so much fun!

This was Sam's favorite part. He loves the water guns!

The only person those little towels they give you would fit!

Friday night Sam and Mommy stayed out of the waterpark the second time because they didn't want Sam to over-do it. They checked out Aunt Amanda and Uncle Jay's balcony. Do you see the pool below? Next time, Aunt Amanda and Mommy are going to check that out!

Sam loved this little plane named "jay-jay". He went on it twice and then held out his finger with a one and said "mo" (more).

Driving, driving, driving! We almost had the arcade to ourselves on a Friday night! The waterpark was never overcrowded. We love going in October! This year we picked Chula Vista. So far we have really liked all the places we've stayed. It's hard to pick which one is the best!

I, of course, loved the arcade. Playing games is my favorite thing to do these days.

Mommy was going to play this game with me, but another little boy walked up and just took the paddle so I had someone more my age to play with me :)

"Playing" Guitar Hero with Aunt Amanda...

Saturday morning watching cartoons before we left for breakfast. Love Sam's expression. He was saying "cheese".

At Paul Bunyan's...

It was kind of rainy out so we didn't get a full family picture. I got mine taken though!

We then went to the waterpark after we got back to the hotel. Sam had orange juice at breakfast, and that was pretty much it so he threw up when we got back to the room. Needless to say, he took it easy. Mommy pretty much just carried him around and then they sat in a chair and he fell asleep on her. After he slept for about 45 minutes, he woke up and was back to his old self and ready to go! This is why we never stay a full weekend. Us boys just can't handle that much excitement yet! :)

We tried to get Sam to do the spider stomp game, but he wasn't interested...so Daddy got to play!

Back at home...here is Sam's "CHEESE" face. We have to work on opening the eyes!

Ready for Sunday school in my pumpkin shirt!

Sam helping Mommy make homemade pizza...very serious.

Trains and future gardeners?

We had a great weekend again! On Saturday we went to a train show in Monroe with G&G and Uncle Jay. We all thought Sam would like it most, but although we both liked it, I was so excited about everything and especially about playing with the table of Thomas stuff they had set up.

The boys at the table were so nice to me and helped me figure everything out!

Sam was a tad short for the table, but he got some playing in. He enjoyed running throughout the building too!

Grandpa and I having a race...

There were lots of buttons we could press throughout the displays also. It was fun to see what they did!

After the train show, we had to do some work. Sam and I helped Grandma dig the last of the carrots. Usually I am not one to be big on manual labor, but I really enjoyed this and stuck through the whole process!

Jumping on the pitchfork was the best part!

Sam found one!

Love Sam's expression in this picture!

Sam showing Uncle Jay his carrot for a picture. Sam now calls Uncle Jay "Unc". It is really cute!

Sam carried the bowl of carrots halfway down the hill.

The "hand-off"...

Uncle Jay holding Sam to look at the "bahs". Sam continues to call horses "bahs". No amount of convincing can make him believe they say neigh!

On the way home, I fell asleep for the last 10 minutes and Sam woke up. He discovered that the Kindle was there and it had been left on a Thomas game so he entertained himself the rest of the way home.

Sunday we got to pick pears and apples at Mommy's friend from work's house. We weren't big fans of all of the fruit on the ground (it was a little hard to walk, especially for Sam), but we got some yummy fruit and we really enjoyed meeting the dog, a Yorkie named Sugar :)

Sam picked a couple...

I really liked going on the ladder to pick some! Daddy ended up doing most of the picking while Mommy and us boys stood around and talked. Thanks Daddy!

This Friday is our annual trip to the Dells. We can't wait!!
