Weekend full of apple orchards!

It's Fall! Sam and I got to go to 3 apple orchards this past weekend! First up was our annual trip to Edward's with the Hyland family. We had a blast like we always do!

The weather was kind of chilly but not the coldest we've had when we've gone there.

Sam didn't think it was cold at all. He wouldn't keep his hood up pretty much the whole time!

I took Sam's hand to show him where to go. Sam doesn't let me do that very often!

I'm getting higher up on the flower!

One of Sam's favorite parts...driving the tractor.

I loved when people rang the bell, and then I ran away covering my ears because it was LOUD!

This was my favorite part! Great Aunt Chris bought us kids a pony ride. I smiled and talked the whole time.

We're not sure if Sam is getting another back tooth. He chewed on his jacket all day!

I hadn't tried walking across the tires before. I did pretty well.

We had to visit the animals. They had some gray pigs!

I needed a rest break so Sam pushed me in his stroller. It actually helped everyone because Sam made Grandma walk miles pushing around the empty stroller. I was heavier and he couldn't push it as far!

Sunday, we went to Oakwood Fruit Farm, and on the way back, Sam was not doing well in the car. He had slept on the way there so he was sick of being in his car seat. We stopped at Peck's market on the way home, and they had a lot for us kids to do!

Sam LOVED this tractor made out of hay bales.

Sunday was a little chilly too, but again not bad. We stayed at Peck's till it started to rain a little and headed home!

Mommy and I rode the train while Sam played with Daddy in the toddler area that had some cars to ride on. We were both happy. What a great weekend! Sam took a 3 1/2 hour nap on Monday to catch up!

Birthday Fun!

I have to recap my birthday for you, as it was one of the best days ever (in my words!).

Mommy made me waffles for breakfast, and then it was time for pictures before school.

Happy to be going to school!

Mommy actually got a picture of Sam sitting still and smiling too! Too bad he is still in his pajamas :)

Sam thinks I am great!

Daddy got to come with me to school to be the snack helper. I was so excited for this! I took Goldfish, yogurt and apple juice for my snack. (school doesn't allow any sugary treats or homemade stuff)

Daddy had to clean up when school was over, so I took some pictures while he did...

A close up of my Ninja Turtle shirt...

While I was at school, Mommy took Sam to get his 2-year old pictures taken. They got a total of 3 pictures. Sam DID NOT want to be there and he wouldn't be out of reach let alone smiling. The good news was that Mommy and Sam were back home within 40 minutes so they were there when I got home from school.

For lunch, by my request, we went to McDonald's! We had to play on the toys for a bit.

After lunch it was off to Chuck E Cheese! Sam loved riding all the little vehicles. That is all he did. He wouldn't even try any of the games.

I really liked this ride. I did mostly play the games though.

After Chuck E Cheese, I got to go to Toys R Us and pick out my last birthday present. I chose some Star Wars guys. I fell asleep in the car part of the way home and was pretty tired for the rest of the night.
Good thing it isn't my birthday everyday!

Birthday party and hunting/fall!

What a great weekend we had!

Saturday was my birthday party. It started out a little shaky, as Sam woke up super early and was a little bear and then G&G Hyland called on their way that they got a flat tire on the Beltline. Luckily, Sam got a nap in the truck (thank you Daddy) and G&G got their tire fixed quickly so all was ok.

Here was Sam's latest thing on Saturday morning in a moment of goofiness...two nuks at once!

Ready for my party!!

Playing pin the pizza on the Ninja Turtle!

Sam didn't have to wear the blindfold. Daddy won, and I got 2nd!

PRESENTS!

Sam loved the police car I got, and I was a good big brother and let him play with it for a bit.

We both got magnifying glasses. Sam walked around with his on Saturday and Sunday!

Cake time...

Dressed in my new Ninja turtle gear...

Saturday we celebrated Uncle Jay's birthday too. Two cakes in one day!!

Sunday was a day to be outside! Sam really enjoyed helping Mommy rake. Well, actually Mommy would rake a pile and then Sam would rake the leaves away from the pile. It was a little counter-productive!

Happy it's Fall!

Playing in the leaves...

Mommy tried to get pictures of the two of us, but could never get one with one of us not eating or staying in one place!

Sunday, i got to go squirrel hunting with Daddy and Grandpa. Unfortunately, we didn't see any squirrels, but I got a lot of fresh air and was exhausted when I got home!

Can you see me and Grandpa?

What a great weekend!
