Happy Easter/Spring Break!

We had a great Spring Break/Easter. Mommy and I made a list of what we wanted to do over Spring Break and we did almost everything on the list.

We...went to Play N Wisconsin, Pump It Up, the zoo, Chuck E Cheese, 2 parks, played with Play Doh, had a movie night, and I played video games with Daddy.

First up was coloring Easter eggs. We are still very efficient at this. It takes Mom longer to set it up than for us to dye them!

One of the chilly days, we had a pajama day and Sam and I pulled all the bedding into the hall to make a "castle".

Here we are at Play N Wisconsin..

I need this swing at my house!

We both loved Pump It Up! We had never been there before, and we can't wait to go back.

We did the Easter Egg Hunt at Copps. That was great fun this year!! We found lots of eggs and then there was a scavenger hunt after we found the eggs.

Next up was the zoo. We went on Saturday so we had to show our Badger spirit!!

Daddy got this shot of me on the zoo train.

Easter Sunday! Mommy and I went to the church service and Daddy and Sam came later for Sunday School.

On our way to Grandma's house. Mommy had 2 little bunnies in the car.

Easter egg hunt at Grandma's (while Grandpa and Uncle Jay were at the Final Four).

Decorating the bunny cake...

The finished product. Sam ran into the bunny cake and got frosting in his hair so he wasn't super cooperative for pictures. Well, and actually before the frosting incident, he wasn't very cooperative :)

It was a beautiful day! We had some races with Grandma.

Sam found the dirt in the garden and played there for quite awhile.

We had a great break!

Spring is Coming!!

We've been having some fun as we get ready for Spring to come!

Before the snow all melted, we made it to a park to play and found this great mountain of snow from the plows to climb and jump on. I think I actually strained my hamstring on this because the one side was so steep to climb. I was in pain for a couple of days but luckily it felt better pretty quickly.

We always have to be silly for brother pictures!

I had some dress up days at school for Dr. Seuss week. Here is Wacky Wednesday!

Here is crazy hair day. Mommy attempted a mohawk type look.

Last Saturday, we had a busy day in Monroe. We went to the Boy Scout pancake breakfast, the 1000 books to Kindergarten program at the library, the Civil War re-enactment cannon and the Swiss Alps park.

Sam really likes the Monroe library.

So do I! We love these big blocks and get them out and move them every time we come!

We heard the cannon being fired (and were almost in the cross-fire) and then got to see it up close. It was a neat set-up but there wasn't a ton to see so we were done after about 10 minutes and decided to go to the park!

Grandpa and Grandma were enjoying the warm weather too!

Grandpa tried out the swing...

Grandma did the teeter totter with us!

Mommy took Sam to Leapin' Leprechauns on St. Patrick's Day. Once Sam warmed up, he really enjoyed it. He got to make a rainbow out of Fruit Loops, find shamrocks with his name on it, play a game, read some St. Patrick's Day stories, make a handprint leprechaun and finger paint shamrock and play with a parachute!

He loves the parachute!!!

Some fun!!

Well, winter blah's are starting to go away. We've had some fun the past few weeks, and the sickness is getting lesser and lesser!

This was a few weeks ago. Jack from my class had a birthday party at Animart. It was very fun. We got to see and touch lots of animals.

Here I am holding a gerbil (I think).

Jack and I being silly...

We've played at the park a couple times. This was the time we went for a "hike"...

Sam and I went up this big hill! Last year when we did it, it was covered in snow!

Sam tried to find a little patch of snow to do a snow angel.

My old school had their Clown N Around celebration. Since there were so many people last year, and Sam struggled with that, he stayed home this year with Daddy and Mommy and I went.

I had a great time! Here I am racing my pig...

Dress up! Note my balloon sword and Batman face painting...

It's still been cold lately. Daddy taught Sam how to warm his toes up at the fire place.

Mommy got to come to school to help with my 100th day celebration. I didn't get to see her a whole lot since we had to rotate between classrooms to do different stations, but the day was very fun!

Here was the school project I needed to do with 100 things on it!

We had a special Valentine's dinner of waffles and sparkling juice. Sam approved of the juice more, and I approved of the waffles more!

Mommy tried to get a nice picture of me before church one Sunday, but I wasn't too cooperative. Can you see that I wore my jammies under my clothes? This was one of the really cold days so Mommy figured it worked like long underwear, and it made me get ready faster!

G&G Hyland stayed at the hotel again last weekend. I had great fun doing my "cannon balls".
Grandpa got a picture showing the air beneath me. I've gotten much better at getting my head wet!

Sam had to do some jumping too!

We also went sledding that weekend but Mommy didn't get any pictures. Glad we got to go at least a couple times this winter. We'll see if we get anymore snow if we can go again!

Winter Blahs!

We have been going through so many colds and viruses that we are ready for Spring!

We haven't really been up to much lately so that's why there's been such a space between posts.

The big news is that I got glasses! I don't have to wear them all the time, but I do really like them. I tell Mom and Dad that I need to "adjust" them when they need to be cleaned (and I clean them myself).

Sam loves Paw Patrol. He got Marshall the fire dog and Marshall has gone lots of places with us.

This was the Hyland family Christmas...

I had to wedge my way between Uncle Jay and Aunt Amanda.

We couldn't believe Sam still fits in this shopping cart, but he had to watch the movie for movie night in it!

Sam and Daddy went to take Mommy to lunch and Sam fell asleep on the way home and didn't even wake up when Daddy brought him inside. He slept until they had to leave to come pick me up. Sam still needs a nap sometimes, even though he won't admit it!

Sam LOVES taking pictures. We had to get the full process of broccoli being cooked the other night.

We have a few fun things coming up in the next few weeks so hopefully our posts will be more exciting!
