Zoo!

Thursday the 21st I got to go to the zoo for my kindergarten field trip...and Mommy was a chaperone!

It was a pretty easy job for Mommy as our group was me and Jack...and Jack's Mom.

We hung around with Jillian and Jillian's Mom and Isaiah and Isaiah's Mom so it was a 1:1 ratio the whole day!

Selfie on the bus there...

The first thing my class got to do was ride the carousel.  The zoo was very crowded with all the classes there on field trips, but we got to the carousel pretty quickly and didn't have to wait in line very long.

Here is my class!

Here is our little group of 4 with the lion. Jack, me, Jillian and Isaiah.

We had a great Memorial Day weekend too! Mommy didn't get a ton of pictures, but she has a few to post. Friday, we had a garage sale, Saturday we went to the Farmers Market with Uncle Jay and Aunt Amanda, Sunday we went to Pump It Up and played with G&G Hyland and Monday we stayed around home (went to one new park) and played with Matthew and Allie. Now, back to school!

Fishing, running and parties

We have had some great weather (or at least no snow!) and have been getting out to enjoy it.

A couple weekends ago, we went to a fishing clinic with G&G Hyland. This was Sam's first time.

He stuck with it for about 1/2 an hour and then wanted to go play at the park across the road.

I was so happy to be fishing again. I got a little antsy like Sam and had to take a break to go play at the park, but then I was still fishing at the end when everyone else left!

My first catch of the day!

Sam's first catch!

#2!

This bucket seat is one of my favorite things!

We celebrated Mother's Day that day and of course had to help Grandma open her presents.

Sam had to fight a fire before going to Sunday School one day...

Last day of Lego club for the year. I made a shark display!

Next up was my Fun Run at school. Mommy, Daddy and Sam all came to watch. Daddy was helping at the water table so I stopped by there during the run about 8 times. I made my goal though of 22 laps!! There was a range in my class of about 19-24, and I was very happy with my 22. I ran a lot of the time and did a great job!

Stretching...

One of the laps, we ran with a partner...

Mommy, Daddy and Sam selfie...

Here is my class after the run...

Last weekend we had Uncle Mickey's surprise 80th birthday party. Sam and I had such a good time! We played with Olivia and Julia the most, and they were both so good to us.

I played Squaddies with Uncle Jay too!

I have a field trip to the zoo today and then this weekend we are going to the farmer's market with Uncle Jay and Aunt Amanda. We can't wait!!

Construction worker, Cabela's and Costumes!

Daddy got us a new digger at Menards, and Sam has loved being able to operate this one (the ones at the park are just a little too big for him yet).

Notice the tongue out with concentration!

Cabela's in Sun Prairie is open. We got to go on Tuesday before it officially opened on Thursday and check it out. Mommy didn't really get any pictures except of me trying on this Davy Crockett hat.

Last weekend we went to the park with Matthew and Allie. Mommy took all four of us kids. In the pictures it doesn't look like there were many kids there, but it was actually pretty busy!

Sam, Allie and I had to dress up to go to the park. We got some smiles, but we were all in our own little world and didn't even notice!

Power Ranger Sam!

Wolverine Joey. I had to take it off partway through because it was a pretty warm day and I got too hot!

Rapunzel Allie and us boys!

This weekend we are doing a fishing clinic and then Mother's Day!

Great weather is back (and hopefully to stay)!

We have been thoroughly enjoying our weekends lately! Great weather and lots of fun playing.

Mommy got us matching summer jammies at Costco and tried to get our picture. We have to be silly!

Last weekend, Daddy took me to a Superhero event put on by the High School DECA group.

Here I am with Curt the Cardinal!

I made my own mask to match my Wolverine shirt.

Sunday we went to Eugster's for their baby event. They had baby goats, lambs, chicks, ducklings, bunnies and goslings. They were so cute!

Here's Mommy holding Skittles the goat. Only the adults were able to hold the animals, which was probably a good thing!

Sam LOVED these baby ducks. He kept trying to pet them and occasionally grab them. They were scared of him...and that was probably a good thing :)

Petting a bunny...

G&G Hyland met us there, and we ended up being there for 4 hours! Sam and I both liked these bikes, and Grandma had a very creative game of us getting "medals" for going around the "track". I stayed on the bike WAY longer than I normally would have. We went through about 10 rounds.

Mommy packed our first picnic of the year!

Sam stayed here a LONG time and would have stayed even longer. Note the mittens. They are still a wardrobe staple!

Sam had to fix the couch at home. He told Mommy when to hand him the tools he needed.

We went to the last Kids in the Rotunda of the season. We got there early and got front row seats! Char met us and we ate Ian's Pizza beforehand. The group was the Gomers, and they do a band karaoke format.

At the end we all got to go up on stage to sing "Let it Go". I wasn't all that excited about the song, but I did want to go on stage. Sam had no interest in doing that!

We went to two parks on Sunday, and Sam had to dress the part for the "digger".

Taking a break, letting Mommy push us on the modern version of the merry go round.

Playing some basketball..

We can't wait till the bathrooms open next week at the parks! We got to the 2nd park (after stopping at home to go potty) and after about 20-30 minutes we had to go home because Sam had to go to the bathroom.

Summer??!!

We have had some beautiful weekends lately and Sam and I have been enjoying it! This is a short post because it is just pictures from Mommy's phone, so there will be a longer one coming with the camera pictures.

We went to my school one Saturday to play on the playground. Sam rode his bike, but I wanted to walk.

That weekend, the high was about 70 degrees. Definitely warm enough for us to put our swimsuits on and ask to be sprayed with the hose. Here we are telling Matthew and Allie's mom that we want water!

The getting sprayed lasted probably 2 minutes and then we all got cold. I went inside and changed into pajamas (my go-to outfit), but Sam stayed outside and played in his swimsuit. He is one tough cookie!
