Lots to post

We have had a fun couple of months and need to catch up!

We went to Eugsters for the Lambing/Kidding days again this year. The boys had a great time holding the little goats.

Xavier who visits across the street came over and played during his Spring Break. They loved playing football with John.

Look at the handsome boys all dressed up for Easter!

The 3 kids sat very nicely for pictures this year. Maebel had just woken up and was a little confused, but she smiled a lot!

Maebel and Joey were doing some great dance moves!

We dyed Easter eggs. Usually this is a very fast process, but this year the boys took their time.

Apparently I got the boys Peeps for the first time this year (I think their memory is faulty!). They had to take a picture.

On Earth Day, we went to some public park land and picked up garbage.

We got a root beer float afterwards, and they had the bear there.

Joey had his annual Wildcat Run at school. He did a great job! Sam, John and I handed out water. Sam loved the job of filling the cups and was yelling encouraging words to the runners and telling them to keep running. He is SO excited to do it next year. He told the director at his current school that he is going to run 700 laps :)

Joey and Cohen being silly...

We went to the park with Maebel. She didn't really need the help, but Joey was happy to give it to her!

We did a bunch of chores outside one day, and Sam decided to wash the car. He set up his booster chair on the side of the driveway and had his little frog sitting there to watch him (until the wind blew him off).

We got to meet Linus!! He was a little sad at first (I love Joey's expression), but then he went to sleep. The boys loved holding him (especially Joey).

All the boys...

Sam is really enjoying playing with Maebel now...

We went to Summit Fest again this year! There was at least a 30 degree difference in temperature this year compared to last year!

They got to hold a baby chick and baby bunny...

Face painting. Joey got a shark, and Sam chose a butterfly.

Joey had his crossover ceremony for Scouts..he officially obtained his Wolf status and we're on to Bear next year.

They got to go bowling after the ceremony. Sam would roll his ball down and it would go so slowly, he would sit down to wait for it to get to the end :)

Sam decided to do dishes one night, and dumped about half a bottle of dish soap in the sink while I was switching the laundry downstairs.

Off to the park...Clifford got to ride shotgun!

Next post will be the end of the school year!

Spring is here!

We finally got a full sized basketball hoop. It's nice because it's adjustable so we can keep it a little lower for now. Joey and Sam are both having a blast playing...and John too!

We went to Play N Wisconsin before Spring really came.

Joey's favorite spot there...
This was a new room since the last time we were there, and the boys loved throwing the footballs and catching them.

Joey came outside to "help" shovel. Can you see him?

We had a halfway decent weekend outside so we went to the park in Monroe. Grandma bought Joey and Sam each a little character, and Joey was throwing and catching it and it landed on one of the roofs on the playset. I had to get the basketball that was in the trunk and keep throwing it up there until it finally knocked it back down!

For Scouts, they had the Herpetologist association come in and show some snakes and geckos.

Joey had a music program at school. They sang a few songs.

We went to see Maebel and Uncle Jay and then went to Lego Club at Aunt Amanda's library since she was working. We had fun building our sets while Maebel slept in the car.

When she woke up, Joey had fun taking her around.

Sam put on a puppet show for her.

We went to see the Taiwan Puppet Troupe at Kids in the Rotunda.

I got a new swing for outside for my birthday, and John put it together before the weather started getting nice, so on the first nice day after that, the boys and I tried it out! We love it!

Sam started swim lessons in the indoor, warm water. He has only had 2 lessons but is already dunking his head under and was floating on his back on his own for a few seconds.

We went to Easter Camp at G&G Hyland's church, and it was a beautiful day! After we got back, we played a long game of baseball.

Sam got kind of bored with the baseball and took off riding the wagon down the hill.

For Spring break, we went to Country Springs hotel for a night. We went to the waterpark of course and then went to Pewaukee Lake to get some ice cream and walk around a little bit. It was very windy as you can tell from the picture.

Sam and Joey found a big hole.

The arcade was a hit as usual, but it was HOT in there!

We had breakfast at the Machine Shed. John was being silly :)

Joey is so at home in the water park now. He went down all of the slides by himself.

Sam did the most stuff this time. He went down all but one of the slides and loved them.

For one of the last nights of Spring break, we went mini golfing. This was the first time at a big course (we went to Vitense). It was a good thing it was chilly outside, and the outdoor course was pretty empty because we were LOUD and SILLY, but we all had a blast.

At the end 3 of us got our balls in the hole to get a free game of golf so we will be going back!!
