Last weeks of Summer!

We enjoyed our last couple weeks of summer!

Two Sundays ago, we went to see the Madison water ski show. Daddy and Mommy decided that we will go back in a couple of years, as it didn't hold our attention like they thought it would.

Mommy and Sam selfie!

Me and Daddy...

This is what we wanted to do most of the show...

A week ago Sunday, we went to a place called Legacy Academy. Mommy's Life Insurance company had an event we could go to so there were only about 10-15 kids there. Sam and I had a blast!

I really liked this rope swing a lot!

Sam was too scared to do this jump, but I did it and so did Mommy and Daddy.

I really liked playing this game, and was  pretty good at it too!

Daddy tried climbing the net. This brought back elementary school memories for Mom and Dad.

I tried rolling Mommy in the barrel. Mom, you're sticking out of both ends!

I had my "Ready, Set, Go" last Tuesday. As you can see from this first picture, I was pretty nervous.

Putting my school supplies away...

Now, I was getting more comfy. I know at least a couple kids in my class from other stuff I've been in. Matthew and Allie are both in different classes though.

We took one last trip to the beach for the year. The water was a tad chilly, but Sam and I didn't mind. There weren't many people there!

Ahh, this is the life!

Saturday, we got to go to G&G Hyland's house for lunch. We had to play a game of zombies after lunch.

(Grandma gets very into the game, I love it!)

Meanwhile, Sam was playing with the wood pieces Great Uncle Pete brought him. He loves carrying around pieces of wood and working with them. If he sees anyone while he has the wood, he says very seriously, "Uncle Pete bring me the wood".

At home, he made a Hot Dog Place. We think the wood was used to cook the hot dogs, but we're not quite sure!

Lost tooth!...and some other random pics

Before I get  to the big news of losing my first tooth, here are some random pics from Mommy's phone.

Sam still likes to help Daddy mow. It just doesn't get old!

We took some pictures when we were downtown with Uncle Jay and Aunt Amanda. I really liked these monkeys in front of State Street Brats.

We really like the Union chairs. Especially this big one!!

It was the perfect size for Uncle Jay :)

We did a 2nd Mallards game this year. We made it a little longer into the game. It was WAY more crowded than the first game though. We had to park pretty far away.

We went to Grandma R's birthday party...it seemed more like a party for me and Sam though! She had lots of party favors for us to play with.

Then the silliness started :)

Mommy took a few pictures of us swimming at the Y. I am getting more and more comfortable in the water and will dunk under. I passed my swim lessons and am moving to the next level. Sam on the other hand did not pass his level. The first sentence on his report was, "Sam is a character". Boy are we headed for trouble with him!

Ok, on to the big news. I have had a loose tooth for several weeks now. Friday it was super loose and Daddy tried to pull it but between me saying it hurt and Daddy's fingers being a little too big it didn't come out. While we were eating supper, it fell out in my mouth! I caught it and we saved it for the tooth fairy. I really like the tooth though so I told Daddy that I wanted to decide tomorrow if I want her to come and pick up the tooth.

After  I lost my tooth, Mommy and I rode our bikes to my school to find out my teacher for next year. This was the first time we rode on the "road" together. I had a lot of fun and talked the whole time!

See my missing tooth spot?

Parade!

Last week was Sun Prairie's annual Corn Fest. We had to do what we did last year for the parade and walk down after swimming lessons. We missed about the first 10 minutes, but we still saw a lot! We had to sit right at the beginning of the route (before they even officially turned onto the parade street), but it worked! Sam and I both loved waving to everyone in the parade, and we got candy, t-shirts, beads, coloring books, coupons, and more!

We both really liked this pig!

Friday was our first celebration for Daddy's birthday. He had a cold so it was very low key.

Mommy has to get more pictures off her phone. We have more to update!!

Zoo, sprinkler and potty training!

Well, last weekend we decided to go to the zoo since we hadn't been there in a little while. Sam pretty much requests to go to the zoo every other week! He was supposed to be able to go with Daddy last week while I was at G&G Rikli's house but he hid Daddy's keys in the pantry so Daddy didn't find them in time to take him.

Sam is potty training right now and is doing really well! The first few days we had quite a few accidents at home but none when we left home. He wore underwear to the zoo and asked to go potty 4 times while we were there, and stayed dry! I got to wait on a bench outside the bathroom and I thought of the idea to pretend to be a statue. It worked great because I didn't move a muscle and I thought it was fun!

can you see the tiger in the background? Sam didn't want to turn his back on him!

Daddy set up the sprinkler for us this weekend. We had a great time running and squealing!

Matthew and Allie came over to give it a try with us.

I had everyone dressing up as superheroes the other night so we had to take some pictures.

Mommy loves this one!

Ah, a nice family photo....?
