Great weather is back (and hopefully to stay)!

We have been thoroughly enjoying our weekends lately! Great weather and lots of fun playing.

Mommy got us matching summer jammies at Costco and tried to get our picture. We have to be silly!

Last weekend, Daddy took me to a Superhero event put on by the High School DECA group.

Here I am with Curt the Cardinal!

I made my own mask to match my Wolverine shirt.

Sunday we went to Eugster's for their baby event. They had baby goats, lambs, chicks, ducklings, bunnies and goslings. They were so cute!

Here's Mommy holding Skittles the goat. Only the adults were able to hold the animals, which was probably a good thing!

Sam LOVED these baby ducks. He kept trying to pet them and occasionally grab them. They were scared of him...and that was probably a good thing :)

Petting a bunny...

G&G Hyland met us there, and we ended up being there for 4 hours! Sam and I both liked these bikes, and Grandma had a very creative game of us getting "medals" for going around the "track". I stayed on the bike WAY longer than I normally would have. We went through about 10 rounds.

Mommy packed our first picnic of the year!

Sam stayed here a LONG time and would have stayed even longer. Note the mittens. They are still a wardrobe staple!

Sam had to fix the couch at home. He told Mommy when to hand him the tools he needed.

We went to the last Kids in the Rotunda of the season. We got there early and got front row seats! Char met us and we ate Ian's Pizza beforehand. The group was the Gomers, and they do a band karaoke format.

At the end we all got to go up on stage to sing "Let it Go". I wasn't all that excited about the song, but I did want to go on stage. Sam had no interest in doing that!

We went to two parks on Sunday, and Sam had to dress the part for the "digger".

Taking a break, letting Mommy push us on the modern version of the merry go round.

Playing some basketball..

We can't wait till the bathrooms open next week at the parks! We got to the 2nd park (after stopping at home to go potty) and after about 20-30 minutes we had to go home because Sam had to go to the bathroom.

Summer??!!

We have had some beautiful weekends lately and Sam and I have been enjoying it! This is a short post because it is just pictures from Mommy's phone, so there will be a longer one coming with the camera pictures.

We went to my school one Saturday to play on the playground. Sam rode his bike, but I wanted to walk.

That weekend, the high was about 70 degrees. Definitely warm enough for us to put our swimsuits on and ask to be sprayed with the hose. Here we are telling Matthew and Allie's mom that we want water!

The getting sprayed lasted probably 2 minutes and then we all got cold. I went inside and changed into pajamas (my go-to outfit), but Sam stayed outside and played in his swimsuit. He is one tough cookie!

Happy Easter/Spring Break!

We had a great Spring Break/Easter. Mommy and I made a list of what we wanted to do over Spring Break and we did almost everything on the list.

We...went to Play N Wisconsin, Pump It Up, the zoo, Chuck E Cheese, 2 parks, played with Play Doh, had a movie night, and I played video games with Daddy.

First up was coloring Easter eggs. We are still very efficient at this. It takes Mom longer to set it up than for us to dye them!

One of the chilly days, we had a pajama day and Sam and I pulled all the bedding into the hall to make a "castle".

Here we are at Play N Wisconsin..

I need this swing at my house!

We both loved Pump It Up! We had never been there before, and we can't wait to go back.

We did the Easter Egg Hunt at Copps. That was great fun this year!! We found lots of eggs and then there was a scavenger hunt after we found the eggs.

Next up was the zoo. We went on Saturday so we had to show our Badger spirit!!

Daddy got this shot of me on the zoo train.

Easter Sunday! Mommy and I went to the church service and Daddy and Sam came later for Sunday School.

On our way to Grandma's house. Mommy had 2 little bunnies in the car.

Easter egg hunt at Grandma's (while Grandpa and Uncle Jay were at the Final Four).

Decorating the bunny cake...

The finished product. Sam ran into the bunny cake and got frosting in his hair so he wasn't super cooperative for pictures. Well, and actually before the frosting incident, he wasn't very cooperative :)

It was a beautiful day! We had some races with Grandma.

Sam found the dirt in the garden and played there for quite awhile.

We had a great break!

Spring is Coming!!

We've been having some fun as we get ready for Spring to come!

Before the snow all melted, we made it to a park to play and found this great mountain of snow from the plows to climb and jump on. I think I actually strained my hamstring on this because the one side was so steep to climb. I was in pain for a couple of days but luckily it felt better pretty quickly.

We always have to be silly for brother pictures!

I had some dress up days at school for Dr. Seuss week. Here is Wacky Wednesday!

Here is crazy hair day. Mommy attempted a mohawk type look.

Last Saturday, we had a busy day in Monroe. We went to the Boy Scout pancake breakfast, the 1000 books to Kindergarten program at the library, the Civil War re-enactment cannon and the Swiss Alps park.

Sam really likes the Monroe library.

So do I! We love these big blocks and get them out and move them every time we come!

We heard the cannon being fired (and were almost in the cross-fire) and then got to see it up close. It was a neat set-up but there wasn't a ton to see so we were done after about 10 minutes and decided to go to the park!

Grandpa and Grandma were enjoying the warm weather too!

Grandpa tried out the swing...

Grandma did the teeter totter with us!

Mommy took Sam to Leapin' Leprechauns on St. Patrick's Day. Once Sam warmed up, he really enjoyed it. He got to make a rainbow out of Fruit Loops, find shamrocks with his name on it, play a game, read some St. Patrick's Day stories, make a handprint leprechaun and finger paint shamrock and play with a parachute!

He loves the parachute!!!
