Here is our update from the last 2 weekends. Last weekend, Mommy took us to the zoo while Daddy was in the woods.
Here we are checking out the seals. We stayed here for quite awhile.

Taking a little break...well, Sam didn't take a break. He was way too into all the animals.

The carousel was a disaster as usual. We both wanted to go on it, but Sam wanted to sit on the bench and I wanted Mommy to stand RIGHT next to me on an animal. She couldn't be in two places at once so I sat on the bench and cried through the whole ride pretty much. Mommy said that next time we are going on the carousel, there has to be 2 adults!
Sam loved the little tractor (of course).

Here was Sam's favorite part...the buffalo. It was really close to us, and Sam hasn't been able to stop talking about it since, especially saying that you can't give the buffalo pretzels or applesauce (that was our snack and Mommy reminded us that the animals can't eat our snacks. It really resonated with Sam)!
Last Sunday afternoon, I got to go to Lillian's horse themed birthday party at Madison Horse Connection. Landon and I met up right away!

Riding a horse! I climbed up pretty much by myself, and then I talked the WHOLE time to the girl who was leading me around. Mommy caught little snippets about Wolverine, Batman, etc.

We got cowboy hats and cups and sheriff badges.

On to this weekend! Saturday we went to the bike rally and Healthy Kids Day at the Y in Monroe. G&G Hyland were working at the bike part.

On to the bike rally! You had to go through different stations and follow the directions like looking out for cars, not running over rocks, turning around, etc. I did well considering I haven't really ridden my bike that much this year.
G&G's station!
I got to go in a real ambulance and have my heartbeat taken. They sat me on the cot and put little pads on my chest. I got a printout of my heart then. It was very cool!
They had a giant inflatable slide there too. Somehow I got my foot kind of stuck or something and ended up kind of flipping down the slide and going backwards. That wasn't so fun!
