Fun few weeks!

We have had a fun few weeks since we last updated.

Mommy has me doing "homework" throughout the summer so I don't forget what I learned in Kindergarten. Sam likes to join in and do his "homework" too. Sam is pretty good with a pair of scissors!

Sam would NOT wear these pajamas even though they are super comfy. I decided I would wear them even though they were a few sizes too small and then, of course, Sam wanted to wear them!

A couple Saturday mornings ago, we went to The Jet Room for breakfast. It is at the airport, and you get a great view of planes taking off and landing...plus the food is good too!

Pump it Up had their 15th birthday party, and we went! It was free to jump and they had birthday cake and a little goodie bag when you left. We had a blast!

This was an air tube you could put little parachutes through. We both loved this!

We finally made it to the beach for the first time this year! We both were in the water immediately!

Can you see me? I went really far in this floatie.

Sam did equal water and playing on the beach.

We went to Zoelle's 4th birthday party at Eugster's. It was a hot day, but we had fun!

Feeding the goats!

Getting a ride from Mom in the wagon. Mom told Sam to smile, and this is what she got!

Feeding the sheep some pellets. We really like feeding animals!

After Eugster's and a brief cool down at home, we went to Taste of Sun Prairie. They had Day One pizza so Sam and I were both happy :)

What a fun couple of weeks. Today we plan to go to the Aquatic Center since it's supposed to be pretty hot again.

4th of July weekend!

Sam and I had a great 4th of July weekend! The weather was awesome all weekend.

Friday afternoon we set up the pool and slip and slide. Friday was the coolest of the 3 day weekend, but we didn't care!

Mommy couldn't believe we lasted the about 10 minutes we did in the pool. This water was pretty much straight from the hose with no time to warm up.

Friday night we had a water fight with Grandpa Rikli. Mom, Dad and Grandma were pretty much spectators. Grandpa was SOAKED by the end of it (Sam and I were pretty wet too!).

We made smores after supper...

We also tried sparklers for the first time.  Next year we need to wait till it's a little darker out though.

Saturday was the 4th of July celebration in Monroe and celebrating Grandma Hyland's birthday.

I dressed up for the occasion.

Playing games!

We got our faces painted. Sam and I both chose fireworks...

We did the wagon ride this year and had a full wagon of Hylands!

Sunday we hung around home. Matthew and Allie came over to enjoy the pool and slip and slide with us.

What a great weekend! We all wish every weekend was a three day weekend!
