Beautiful weekend!

We had some wonderful weather for the weekend so we tried to take advantage of it! The temps were in the 50's and high 60's so we went to the zoo!

There were 3 seals this time. We came back several times to see all of them. Sam loved that there was a Mommy, Daddy and Baby. We would go to the other animals, and he would say, "where is the Sam" or "where are you, Mommy?"

Mommy had to get some pictures of Sam in the cute shirt Uncle Jay and Aunt Amanda got him for his birthday last year.

Mommy's attempt at a nice Fall picture...not too bad!

The carousel went really well again! No crying, and both of us sitting on animals and not benches!

We rode the train too! The zoo was pretty quiet because there was a Badger game going on  and Halloween at the Zoo was on Sunday so I think most people were going to that!

Sam followed me right up this climbing net. I helped him a little when he got to the top, but Sam is pretty self sufficient!

Two Joeys :)

Sunday, we had trunk or treat at church. Sam and I had a great time! Sam wouldn't put the headpiece on his lion costume, but he still made a cute lion. Hopefully he will put it on for Halloween when it cools down outside!

We got to pick a pumpkin from the "pumpkin patch" and decorate it. Note how Sam took off his costume right away (he gets so hot!). At the zoo, he had his jacket off the minute we got there, and Mommy and I had our sweatshirts on the whole time we were there.

Catch Up!

There's a lot to catch up on with the blog. We've been so busy lately! Since I last posted, we had our Wisconsin Dells "weekend", Daddy's hunting trip, my birthday and several apple orchards!

Here I am at the 2nd Lego club. I built something more this time, but it still centers a lot around the guys and weapons!

While I was at school one day, Sam got to go paint at G&G Rikli's. Look at that concentration!

It was time for our annual trip with Uncle Jay and Aunt Amanda to Wisconsin Dells. We stayed at the Kalahari this time, and I think it was our favorite place. We got to do the waterpark AND the indoor theme park.

Here we are ready to go!!

Interesting way for me to go down the lazy river...

We ate supper Friday night at the place that delivers your food by train. Sam and I both really liked that a lot! At the end we got 2 extra drinks by accident, so Sam had to line them up and try them all!

After supper, we went to the Indoor Theme Park. Mommy, Aunt Amanda and I rode the ferris wheel!

Sam had to try out some games...

We had success on this trip of BOTH of us riding a carousel and NOT crying. It was a miracle!

Daddy, Uncle Jay and I rode the go-carts. Sam was too small so Mommy and Aunt Amanda sat out with him. Daddy and I said that Uncle Jay drove like an 80 year old man. Sam wouldn't stay to watch, so they missed seeing us driving.

We did our Saturday morning breakfast at Paul Bunyan. We're ready for some food!

The other side of the table...

It was rainy and cold so Mommy only got one shot of us by Paul Bunyan.

Back at the water park, Sam decided to do the kids' lazy river. One of the adults there commented how un-lazy Sam was going through the river. Basically he was running through it!

I went down quite a few slides again. Daddy and I did a really big one together too!

Sunday of that weekend we went to 3 different apple orchards. This was the 2nd one. Mommy tried to get a picture of us "pumpkins" but we weren't cooperating very well. Too much to see!

The 3rd one we stopped at had animals to feed and stuff to play on.

Daddy told us to stand by the rear end of the moose and hold our noses. Of course we were both happy to oblige!

Next up in this post was my birthday week! In between all of this was Daddy's hunting trip so Mommy has to get some pictures off her phone since Daddy had the camera.

Opening a few presents after school on my birthday. Note that my shirt is for my school...the Westside Wildcats. I love my school shirts. I wore the long sleeve one to school but ripped the sleeve so I had to change into my short sleeve one right when I got home!

A new 2-wheeled scooter!

We went to Chuck E Cheese at suppertime to play some games. Sam had to call Chuck E Cheese and talk to him. He does know the difference between Chuck E and his family though because he didn't say "bye, wuv you" at the end to Chuck E.

We both really liked this roller coaster one.

I was being silly, and we all laughed about how my cheesy smile ended up lining up with the marshmallows on the ride.

Chuck E came to visit and we did a song and got a chance to get some free tickets.

My birthday party was Saturday. I had a birthday breakfast and then we had to open presents! My theme was Power Rangers. Here I am opening my awesome new Avengers umbrella. I got so much cool stuff!

Sam was super excited to sing happy birthday. He started the song off!

The rest of the weekend Sam and I were both kind of crabby. We went to a park Saturday night, went to Sunday School and the Y on Sunday and pretty much just took it easy the rest of the time.
